Features

Performance – With the raw power of the brand-new 2022 ROG Strix SCAR 15 with Windows 11, you can draw more frames and win more games. Take on any foe with a 12th Gen Intel Core CPU and a laptop GPU powered by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX with a maximum TGP of 150W. Thanks to PCIe Gen4 solid-state storage, loading screens are a thing of the past. The SCAR is prepared to leave the competition in the dust thanks to DDR5 memory’s increased bandwidth.

Cooling – In order to effectively remove heat from the system, the SCAR uses four specific fan outlets and liquid metal thermal compounds on the CPU. Critical components like the CPU and GPU can operate at greater boost speeds for longer thanks to ROG Intelligent Cooling, maintaining a smooth and consistent framerate even during prolonged gaming sessions. On the CPU, Thermal Grizzly’s Conductonaut Extreme Liquid Metal was also improved for the 2022 Strix SCAR. Conductonaut Extreme, an ultra-high performance thermal interface material, can keep these components at 15°C cooler than ordinary thermal pastes. Additionally, the SCAR controls noise: in Performance mode, the Strix SCAR’s maximum noise level is 40 dB.

Design – Customizable Armor Caps let you give your machine a more unique look. Choose one of the three possibilities included in the box, or create your own 3D design using the templates that are available for download. You can see inside the device through the semi-translucent palm rest, and the rubber feet have been modified to reduce vibration for peaceful, comfortable gaming sessions. The Strix SCAR’s athletic feel throughout the entire chassis is accented by colorful elements.

Audio – For realistic sound staging in your games, Dolby Atmos-powered speakers have two tweeters and two downward shooting woofers. You can hear your music in the same quality as when it was recorded thanks to hi-res audio. To ensure that your calls, chats, and broadcasts are uninterrupted, Two Way AI Noise Cancelation filters any errant background noises from both the incoming and outgoing audio.

Keyboard – The keyboard switches on the Strix SCAR are extremely durable and are expected to survive over 20 million keystrokes. The WASD keys can rest easy knowing that they are strong enough to endure. Through Aura Sync, per-key RGB lighting offers limitless customization, including lighting schemes tailored to certain games.

Battery – The Strix SCAR is equipped to travel a long way. The laptop’s 90Wh battery allows for 10.5 hours of video playback before it needs to be recharged. USB Type-C charging up to 100W is supported for mobility on the go. The SCAR can recharge from 0% to 50% in about 30 minutes when using the included 280W power adapter.

Connectivity – A solid internet connection is essential for playing multiplayer games in the modern era. The SCAR is equipped with a dedicated RJ45 connector that supports 2.5G LAN as well as the most recent WiFi 6E standard, making it ready to combat. Never miss a beat again.
